This policy explains what personal data Sakume UK (www.dakimakuras.co.uk) collects, why we use it and the rights you have under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. Data we collect

  • Order data: name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number, items ordered and order history.
  • Payment data: payment status and transaction reference. Card and account details are entered directly with the payment provider; we do not receive full card numbers.
  • Communication: messages, photos and details you send to customer service.
  • Account and newsletter: login details if you create an account, and your email address if you subscribe.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, pages visited and cookie identifiers.
  • Optional forms: answers you submit through forms such as our character vote (hosted by Tally).

3. Why we use your data

We use personal data to process, produce and deliver orders, provide customer service, prevent fraud, keep the website secure, comply with legal duties and – only with your permission – send marketing emails.

  • Contract – to process and deliver your order and handle support requests.
  • Legal obligation – tax and accounting records.
  • Legitimate interests – fraud prevention, site security and improving our shop.
  • Consent – newsletters and non-essential cookies; you can withdraw consent at any time.

4. Who we share data with

We share only what each recipient needs:

  • our e-commerce platform and hosting provider (Fecify);
  • payment providers: PayPal, Payssion;
  • our production partner and carriers, to make and deliver your order;
  • analytics and advertising providers, only where you have accepted the relevant cookies;
  • authorities, where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Our products are made and dispatched from China, so order data is transferred outside the UK. We use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

6. How long we keep data

  • Order and invoice data: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
  • Customer service messages: as long as needed to handle your request and any related claims.
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
  • Cookies: see the cookie section below.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access your personal data and receive a copy
  • have inaccurate data corrected
  • have data erased
  • restrict or object to processing, including direct marketing
  • data portability
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing

We do not currently use Google Analytics on this site.
